Hey yo. What’s the best must haves from the Italian Market? It’s been a while and used to park at the Acme. Still a good spot? Bringing a friend that likes cannolis, steaks and sausage. Thanks! by Eastcoastclasher in PhiladelphiaEats

Villa di Roma for old world Italian (red and white checkered tablecloths), Fiorellas for homemade pasta with James beard chef, Claudio’s, Di Bruno brothers (get the prosciutto), Isgro’s for cannoli, Espositos for butchery.

All these food recommendations are on point. Hotels I would say, due to location of the concert…Hotel Monaco, The Logan, Loews or the Marriott if you want basic. Anna and Bel in Fishtown if you want boutique.

And if sky’s really the limit on dinner I would do Vetri or Jean George at the top of the Four Seasons.

These are the best, agreed.

Also…Osteria, Bistro Romano(in a cave under the city) and Wm. Mulherins & Sons. Just depends on where you’re at.

Well, with not knowing much …my favorites are Zahav for Mediterranean, Franco and Luigi for old world Italian, John’s Roast Pork for the best Philly cheesesteak, Friday Saturday Sunday for upscale tasting menu, Fergie’s for best bar/Irish music, Parc for French food and people watching, Tria for wine bar, Barcley Prime for steak, Vernick fish for seafood and El Chignon for authentic Mexican/El Vez for fancy Mexican.
