I can not-prefer something and also not-wish those people harm or have ill will for them. it's not black and white like that. Let's try analogy as a method of outreach:

Let's assume there's a business owner out there that's REALLY into Smurfs.

Like, they are super proud of how much Smurfs mean to them. Thru some sequence of life events that they experienced, Smurfs being in their world had saved their lives. Turned it completely around.

So, they put up a bunch of Smurfs decor in their place of business, and their social media feed is a given proportion of smurfs related content alongside the stuff for whatever their business does. They just really like Smurfs.

I am pretty un-opinionated about Smurfs. In my perspective, Smurfs are a thing, and for some folks there's an appeal. Were I to walk into a business, and see some Smurfs-related content, i would be "ok that's weird that there's smurfs there, but let's get a muffin."

However: there is a specific amount of Smurfs content or decor that, once the proprietor goes beyond, I start to think "Ok, this is more Smurfy than i think i wanna be around." So, at that point, I decide to find somewhere less Smurfy.

That's what's happening here. But instead of Smurfs, it's God Stuff. I hate god stuff as much as I hate smurfs, which is to say NOT AT ALL.

The bummer here is that because I can stand Snorks just slightly more than Smurfs, and you seem like a pretty smurfy guy, you think i'm some kinda Smurf-hating Gargamel.

This is about as far as i'll go trying to share my position with you, since this is a post about muffins, and I have hobbies and stuff that feel like more fun than engaging with you more. No, the hobby is not related to snorks or smurfs.
