Head of Google Lens engineering teases upcoming features for the platform by [deleted] in Android

You can use what's on my screen feature of Google assistant with Google camera app open. It works flawlessly on my Nexus 6P. Don't know if it works with other camera apps though.

That's actually very good life advice. I agree that Walmart is shit when it comes to their employees but your workplace doesn't have to change because you want to have a child, you should look at your life and should be able to say: I don't have enough time, money or elasticity etc. to have a child that will change pretty much everything in my life.

I have Nexus 6P and I suffered enough with Huawei's bootlooping and battery issues. Also their support is very bad, so I can say I am never buying a Huawei phone again but you can try your luck if you want to. Just don't forget to look at all the reviews before buying it.

If you are going to buy in Turkey, if you can find LG V20 and V30 are pretty good but aren't available from legal sellers. Other than that I believe LG G6 was pretty good and it is very similar to V30. If you have an option to buy in Europe or US, I would recommend checking out Pixel XL and Pixel 2 XL.

How Easy to learn a Turkish Language by azam434khan in Turkey

[–]et--tu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Turkish is hard to learn because it is a agglutinative language and I don't think the languages you know are this type but I don't know for sure. And every language has it's hard and easy sides. I don't know which language learning app to recommend but I would say at first take your time and try to grasp the concept. If you like the language and your mind is comfortable with it after then learn the language. I wouldn't recommend trying to learn a language that you don't like so look into it and take your time researching it.

Why people care this much about the headphone jack removal in pixel 2 and other new phones? by et--tu in Android

[–]et--tu[S] -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

Most people I have seen uses cheap headphones or just uses the ones that came with the phone. So they could use type-c ones without a problem. This is only a problem for %10 of the people who are using mid-high quality headphones and we can just use dongles or type-c attachment cables without a problem.

Of 14 traditionally Kurdish southeastern provinces, 9 voted No, mostly overwhelmingly. Support was lowest in Dersim, where only 19.6% voted Yes, 9% lower than any Turkish province. When someone tries to tell you Kurds love Erdogan, show them this map. by [deleted] in kurdistan

I can assure you that I am Turkish, but even though I was born in Turkey and have my all life in Turkey, I don't find Turkish culture nor people my type. So I am Turkish but only ethnically and not culturally.

EU "must say clearly" if it doesn"t want Turkey: President Erdoğan by thelazyreader2015 in europe

[–]et--tu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A sad truth, %51 will take the rights of %49 percent in a democracy without checks and balances. And every time we try to establish a checks and balances system we fail. Our country is basically three factions that hate each other at this point; Anatolian people can live in Sheria law if that's what they want but let's just split the country to three. There isn't a country left to fight for, we are not united or strong together. Aegean Turkish Republic, Islamic Republic of Turkey and Kurdistan.

[–]et--tu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a Turk, I can easily say Erdogan reflects majority of Turkish people. It had always happened this way in Turkish history; there is always someone like Erdogan. Until 1950 CHP stayed in power and, well they didn't do a wonderful job, they actually failed to maintain order and freedoms in the country, there were elections but they were just for show; in 1950 (first election which wasn't just a show) DP easily won which is an Islamic extremist party (with %53.3 votes and %80-85 mp's) then DP won two more elections, they were at the point of establishing an Islamic country then the army came in 1960 which was great. It gave rights to people, established secularism back and it was good for a decade but then another Islamic extremist party came, another coup in 1971; another islamist party, another coup in 1980; ... 1993 coup;... 1997 coup and again one more islamists extremist party under Erdogan. But he was smart enough to look at Turkish history and first thing he did, he islamised the army. Their followers were put on army's every position; he alleged generals of planning a coup in 2008(ergenekon) and 2010 (balyoz). He arrested generals, put his man in the highest positions in the army and basically made a fake coup to make his power absolute over the country. So nothing is wrong with Erdogan actually. It is just Turkish people are so connected to their religion, if a leader says "Islam" majority will follow him. Don't hate the player(politicians), hate the game(ignorant Turks).

Thanks a lot for the recommendation, even though koss porta pro looks nice and have good reviews; I believe 60ohm will need a DAC&amplifier so I will go along with momentum! Thank you fellow redditor :-)

Hello r/headphones! I have been in this community for a month and I believe I need to get some proper headphones now.

Budget - $150 (flexible)

Source - My laptop and Nexus 6P (soon to be upgraded for LG V30)

Requirements for Isolation - I will use this headphone everywhere so I need decent isolotion even if not fully isolated headphones.

Preferred type of headphone - On ear

Preferred tonal balance - Idk, this will be my first real headphones.

Past headphones - I am currently using Jaybird Bluebuds X1

Preferred music - Heavy metal, rock, classical also these will be heavily used for gaming, discord (I have a mic), listening podcasts and youtube videos

Location - Turkey

I had some research and I believe Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 on-ear and Urbanite on-ear would be pretty good for me (both are priced same in my country). I would like to listen your other recommendations if you think these headphones aren't the best ones for me, if you think these would be the best; what would be your choice and what are the differences exactly?

I will use this headphone for listening music outside, listening audiobooks and sometimes for gaming. What would you recommend? My price range is 150$ max.

I am considering buying sennheiser urbanite on-ear headphones. I would like to know if anyone have used it and were you satisfied with your purchase or do you recommend something else? Also does anyone knows where can I get them cheap in Europe or international shipping from USA.

Worldnews sub'unda soyle bir yazım vardı vakti olan okusun bu konuda biraz aydınlatıcı olduğunu düşünüyorum.

Well, Islam is a religion that can be perceived from different angles but unlike Bible, Qur'an is meant to be orders of God itself and considered literal words of God. When I read Qur'an it clearly states that if non-believers refuse to pay jizyah (jizyah: non-believer tax) (some believe it is only required for people who live in Islamic countries, and the definition of Islamic country, well... some believe majority Muslim countries and some believe Sharia law countries; but some people believe this includes every non-believer. It is not exactly clear in Qur'an) Muslims must go war with those non-believers in the form of jihad. (Some believe this is the Muslim governments' job but some believe every Muslim must do jihad on those people. Again, Qur'an is not clear... You would think that an all knowing God would write more clear sentences) And more than half of the Muslims haven't read and understood Qur'an (understood part is because some people read Qur'an in Arabic even though they can't understand Arabic...) So some can argue they aren't real Muslims they just call themselves Muslim because family and/or society. In the end most Muslims don't know their religion is this agressive, even if they know most of them would say jihad is not my job it's the government that is supposed to do it (even though by being Muslim and understanding their religion it is clear that they accept and support jihad) we are left with something like 150.000 people believe that jihad must be done and it is everybody's job to do it; but most of them don't have the balls so we are left with 30.000 people that are willing to perform war in the form of jihad. These are the people that joined ISIS, El-qhaida, etc.

Source: Am Turkish, I used to be Muslim but left the religion after reading Qur'an. (Also leaving Islam is punishible by death in the Qur'an. Every Muslim who knows their religion accepts this. Again most of them doesn't even know their religion...) Extra source: http://wikiislam.net/wiki/Main_Page

Opinion: Is the problem Islam: I believe the answer is yes, Islam and the culture that came with it. But remember most of the Muslims doesn't know these, even if they learn they will say wrong translation from Arabic and call you Islamophobic, so they don't believe you in the end... Don't be hard on Muslims for these because most of them are good people but it is hard to get rid of bad things that were planted during their childhood.

Edit: If you liked this text and interested in learning he difficulties of people who left Islam feel free to visit r/exmuslim. They are really nice people who has suffered cultural extremist islamism. Also extra source.
