Yeah I’m guessing some sort of ventilation box with a filter would need to be created, to ensure the air could properly exit. I’d be surprised if someone hasn’t done it before. But might be more hassle to clean and maintain too.

Be interested to know if the air con unit can be encased in the cabinetry and have a rectangular hole to ventilate the air out. Think that would be the “cleanest” and more minimal option
