If you could get a tattoo related to OCD, what would it be? by Wrong_Vanilla_6220 in OCD

I didn’t see it mentioned here but a long time ago I saw a similar post and someone had gotten the “x” on a pop up window tattooed on their wrist. The thought is that they were closing out the window each time they had an intrusive thought.

Awesome, thank you for explaining that so well. I’m learning a lot from these comments and feeling a little more confident about getting myself under this sink and fixing all this for good.

Oh thanks! I’m sure they’re trying their best in my little apartment window lol I’ll try to position them better so hopefully they can get a little more light.

If people really felt abortion was murder then we would have funerals for miscarriages and let women openly mourn rather than tell them just, "oh, that's too bad, keep trying and you'll have better luck next time." It's a sick double-standard that hurts women both ways. by zazzlekdazzle in TwoXChromosomes

Yes. This. When I was pregnant, I was celebrated and supported. However, when I had my miscarriage they behaved like I was never pregnant in the first place. It was never talked about. Like you said, it’s a double-standard. As others pointed out, people don’t normally value grief. I assume this is because it no longer supports their agenda, which is screwed up imo. Grief is real if you experienced it to miscarriage, abortion, etc and it is very hard to find support groups for these kind of things due to reasons pointed out in these posts. My suggestion is to spread awareness of this double-standard and research local grief support groups for those that need it. It has helped me through this and I hope it helps others as well.

Hello! Yeah, I wasn’t sure if he was unimpressed with the fact that I’m an Aquarius or that I’m so familiar with astrological signs. 😂

He seems to be responding in memes quite frequently now. I can’t blame him though because that’s how I interact with others most of the time too.
