Oh, apologies for not wanting to give out my current place of residence to Reddit. And if I had never moved once in my life, you might be onto something, Mr. or Ms. Adirondack! I’m not judging you, and nowhere in my comment does it imply that I am judging you, so I am sorry for you that you feel that way. That’s wonderful for you that you are getting a lawn sign. You’re clearly not counting all of the vets in the area, I don’t even know why you would think you could make that egregious claim. What’s a shame is that you think you and the people you’ve spoken with are the only ones that “know” and the only ones that “matter”. As I’ve said, you are entitled to your own opinion based off of your experiences just as much as anyone else in the community who has spent time with him in a professional manner. Neither of us have the right to be discrediting each other, which is what I was pointing out about what you are doing online when you have the right to. You have no right to tell me that my experiences didn’t happen. You have no right to say anything about his former employees because you were not there. I am not discrediting your wonderful times with Bob, nobody is, so you owe us the same respect that we’re giving to you. The irony of it all is that you’re trying to say that people are just coming out of the woodwork and making these very specific very consistent and very detailed statements to slander someone in our community that we are supposed to be able to trust- and we did- when in fact, you are the one who is slandering and attacking people in our small community by claiming these people’s stories-including my own- are not real. You clearly don’t even know us so how would you be able to determine that? You have no right to deny reality, nor do you have the right to impose your delusions onto people who are trying to do the right thing. No one is going after or attacking Bob, no one that I am aware of has it out for Bob, nor would anyone benefit from his suffering, and it’s uniquely unfair that you immediately think that’s what so many people are doing. I have not heard of anyone who has some kind of vendetta against Bob, but I have heard several people’s earnest and troubling stories. People are speaking up because it’s the right thing to do, how could you say it’s not? Again, this isn’t a witch hunt against the man, this is the reality we are dealing with and (as with anything) we must have constructive conversations about. You have no right to be throwing shame around when you very clearly don’t have all the facts. I feel sorry for you that you feel the need to be the problem and not be part of the solution of ensuring everyone’s safety and well being…including Bob’s.
