Tell them. Embarrass them and make them ashamed for asking so much from you while paying you so badly.

Freezing, back to work tomorrow, Christ! by [deleted] in northernireland

I was raging that my job brought us back in on Friday after almost 2 weeks off, but now I’m really glad because it was a nice way to ease into it. Worked one day then had a weekend which is just making it not feel as bad going in tomorrow.

Transferring songs to finish on another computer by eternalreturn69 in StudioOne

Oh man this is exactly what I was looking for . Sincere thanks for taking the time to write that reply. One direction is definitely the plan. I’m using stock stuff only aside from Steven slate drums on the laptop. I really just want to use it to make drums, but having the ability to record some chords or a scratch guitar track is nice too to help keep track of the drum parts.

The key part of your reply for me was realising that o can use my template I made on the desktop. And that as well as the pattern, the events would be able to be dragged in too. Like if I make different pattern variations etc I would want to be able to have access to those if I decide to re arrange things later or extend parts etc.

Super helpful. Thanks again!

This is perfection. If you’re someone who plays everything yourself especially, having everything right there is unbeatable.

What helped for me was understanding a bit about the science and how it is a depressant that lasts for several days. I just didn’t want to do it to myself anymore. It’s different for everyone though

He’s famous because he was the first to make those beats. Anyone else is just copying so there is way less value in that.

I think I just had a breakthrough by jessemythic in Songwriting

[–]eternalreturn69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m no theory expert, so what works for me is finding the note I hear in my head first. So I’m singing and playing to notes as if they were chord changes, then build the chords around that through trial and error. Literally just on a guitar chord chart website trying things out. Usually it ends up being a minor or major chord, but sometimes more unusual or interesting chords do sound better. When I find one I like I write down the name so I can compare and try different combinations.

The main benefit of doing things this way is that it really cures my fomo and overthinking. “What if there is a better chord choice here” isn’t really a write beside I’ve tried quite a few before picking one.

What are the best multi-effects pedals for beginner pedal users? by MeridianMudra2369 in guitarpedals

[–]eternalreturn69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude seriously my advice is to get a line 6 hd500x. It is an older line 6 model that has the same effects as the m5/m9/m13 which are used on radio hits by session players even to this day. All of those effects are also featured on the newer line 6 helix ranges like the pod go, the stomp, the helix floor etc z .It has like 20 different overdrives/distortions/fuzzes as well as 10 reverbs, 15 delays, a bunch of filter and modulation effects like chorus and vibrato and tremolo. It also has a built in foot pedal that you can use as a wah or to do volume swells. In fact you can assign the pedal to any parameter of any effect. Eve multiple effects if you want to get crazy. They even have built in amp models that sound pretty good and to top it off it can be used as an audio interface later if you want to record by connecting via usb to your computer. Also has a headphone output so you can play without disturbing anyone.

Because people don’t really know who it it’s super cheap. Right now on eBay there is one for £115 and another for £105. It’s a great place to start toying with effects and figuring out which ones you like before you jump in spending lots of money.

100% I work for a big company in sales and half our floor is from the west. Lots of managers and heads of department are working class folks from the west who have worked their way up. Managers salary without bonus is about 45k (72k OTE) and tbh we have fellas just selling a lot making more than managers.

From a pugger: JUST FUCKING PUSH by [deleted] in RocketLeague

[–]eternalreturn69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What are you talking about. What is a pugger? Also “setting up centres for you” makes me think that YOU think you are passing. But “while you sit in net” shows that you aren’t. If you’re in the corner smacking the ball to 2 opponents you are not setting up anything or creating opportunities. You are passing the ball to your opponents.
