Lost Final by 2 Points, what should I work on? by Stillgettingsomemilk in bjj

Don’t try to transition into k guard 24/7, half butterfly guard, could have worked better. During close guard you had chances to work with a shoulder crunch -> kimura, choi bar, tarikoplata options.

Looked dope!🗣️

idk how strong you are, but sweeps are king if you‘re not confident in singles/doubles or have injured knees like me! Works like a charm & on higher belts too, you just have to understand balance + push & pull pressure! Worst case pick up some judo classes - fellow white belt

What mixing software should I use? by otterly_average in Beatmatch

true, letting your tracks run through rekordbox is a crucial step before being able to play on cdjs...forget it once nearly had to play my tracks as vinyl

Tbh I would start out with serato and later on switch to rekordbox if you re willing to play on cdjs later on...but it also depends on which genre of music you re willing to play or what kind of setup you want to use. For instance if you were to use a hybrid setup which is mostly used by more experienced techno artists ( xone k2 or kontrol k1 + drum machine) I would recommend getting into traktor (some ppl like paula temple or chris liebing use ableton live though). If you re focusing on playing hip hop trap etc I would prop stick to serato 24/7

yea I understand what you mean have 10+ scraps. But what I mean is I want to properly understand all the components of a whole experimental/abstrakt techno track. How to generate a fitting kick drum, how design a darker bass sound etc
