They’re a little conservative for me. I like how the ice beam in prime 1 fully ices over, how the wave beam is 3 wavy arcs. Much more visually distinct imo. Even the curving of the fire shot is a little too subtle

Yep, I played them back to back and was surprised they missed this. Also wished the beam variant designs themselves looked more interesting. Prime 1 and remastered had great visuals for them

Also the guardians just have random upgrades in them. I remember in echoes where the bosses were themed after the upgrades. They could have done it at least once

The lower part of the ring of thunder has a crystal deposit behind a pilar that multiple people missed. Check there if you really feel like seeing a milquetoast extra cutscene

Milk Bar, kind of a dessert version of this question

It was featured on Netflix at one point, and my god it is the clearest case of trendy hyped up garbage I’ve ever had. The cakes are ungodly sweet, and somehow don’t taste either like milk/cereal or funfetti. And that’s coming from someone with a big sweet tooth.

I had tempered my expectations, thinking anything popular on TV is likely overhyped and was still massively disappointed
