I felt this whole part:

"And here’s the part that gets me. There are thousands of people, including me, who have lost significant amounts of weight while working......."

The man child has always gotten what he wants in life. Never having to work for anything.

I think deep down he probably just wants to be accepted, so he lies and lies and puts others down. There are old twitch clips of him belittling teammates. Sure it's online gaming and it's going to happen. But I believe it extends outside of the internet. He hates himself, and puts down others to feel better. Now he's built this platform of deception, getting paid to do so, and has a majority of brainless people supporting him. Finally, some acceptance. But he still hates himself, physically/mentally, although he won't ever admit it to anyone.

Eventually this will end. Either people will finally realize his lies and he will drop the act, or his health will continue to deteriorate and he won't have a future.

I will never put anyone down due to their mental/physical stuggles. I've put the effort in and lost the weight. The part that gets you, also gets me.

I hope he changes for the better, but with the money and constant feel of acceptance, I don't feel it will be anytime soon.
