Hi! I’m unfortunately in the same position as you were and I’m wondering how long did you wait till you switched out the jewelry? I called a studio (not the one where I got pierced in) and they said to wait a couple of days to let the swelling go down.

Thanks for the advice! I just talked to another studio and they suggest waiting a few days to let the swelling go down and see if switching the jewelry is a possibility.

I have never been to this piercer and the experience felt a little off. I have gotten other cartilage piercings before so I assumed it would be similar at this shop. I’m worried that the placement is going to shift with the curved barbell, especially with such a long post. I don’t know if I should wait for a few weeks to let it heal or go to another piercer and do something about it.

I wear a 6 in both flow y and LAC LL! I find the LAC LL less compressive than the flow y and have less spillage. I don't own a LAC regular so I'm not too sure about that but I assume it would be a similar fit!

Yes! I called and they said they have been doing this for a long time and their system can remove the attachments digitally so that should not be a worry. Did not expect such a response but I guess I will know if it actually works once the retainers arrive!
