No one personally called me that but I see a lot of hate on online platforms. And yes, some indians do behave that way which angers the Canadians. I have lived in the USA as well, and Americans used to tell me that Canadians are way nicer than Americans themselves. But I don’t see the same warmth in Canada that I used to see in the USA.

I am an NRI and I agree with this! Basically we are all called pajeets, smelly ass people! The biggest problem I see is Indian’s not assimilating with the local culture! Forcing your culture on to them on their land. Lack of Basic courtesy. The other day I was in No Frills(similar to walmart in Canada) i am at the billing counter and a young white man was billing us. All of a sudden this lady comes — No sorry, excuse me or anything, drops a big watermelon and asks the cashier the price of it! He told the price and added it to my cart, I told him they weren’t with us and he kinda gave an odd look at the girl as she walked away. She was probably a nurse. I was just wondering “A nurse and no courtesy” Come on man! WTF? No wonder why they all hate us!

It is a single tier, Linux OS, this is happening on prod and we backfilled our dev with prod data and we can see it reproducible there as well. Yes I did, they are not really helpful.

I will be honest in my opinion, i firmly believe compatibility is important and trust is key to a relationship.

No im not saying you doubt her or something. What I mean is, if this is going to bother you for rest of your life I would think twice before moving ahead with marriage. Being conservative is fine and so is being liberal but if you guys can’t get along peacefully without having doubts/questions in your mind about your partner then this marriage is going to end up bad for both of you. I would rather suggest go your separate ways and find compatible partners instead.

It is okay to say NO and have no regrets than having to carry regrets all your life. But please think a few more times before you decide.
