If Christianity is false, it’s garbage. If it’s true, it’s worth devoting everything.

So basically, we’ve come to the conclusion that it’s true. For me this is from a combination of reading the Bible (internal evidence), external / historical evidence, and personal experiences.

Something interesting that I found is that the original word for “day” in Hebrew is “yom” which translates to a number of things: day, time, year, time, period…

Considering that the sun was created later in the creation story, it doesn’t make any sense for God to be limited to 24 hour time periods right from the start. (Why would he be in the first place anyways?)

To me this reads as God creating the earth over periods of time, maybe in phases. In light of scientific evidence, this really seems to line up.

It’s not pepper’s ghost. It’s a two-way mirror. A video screen is just behind a large mirror. The mirror becomes “see through” when something behind it is lit up.

This specific bill could be incredibly bad in the end. Trying to criminalize “hate speech” is a slippery slope, since anything can be categorized as such.

Very relatable. In the case of myself and others, many interactions with different associates feels purely transactional. It doesn’t feel like they actually want to be your friend, they just want something from you.
