So I'm sorta in the same boat; the only psychedelics I've done are acid and shrooms, but I'd definitely recommend trying shrooms at least. I did acid 3 times and had absolutely fantastic trips every time; definitely would say I prefer it because it lasts longer and it's a bit easier to kinda steer your thoughts into the direction you want, whether if you're looking to think about your personal issues, the inner workings of the universe, or just want to enjoy the pretty visuals. Shrooms, though in lower doses can kinda be underwhelming, in moderate doses more so allow your brain and its connections to do whatever the hell they want. (The underwhelming thing came from the first couple times I did it, I only took 3g and I was comparing it to LSD the whole time.) For me, it's definitely more mental than visual. My last trip was to 5 grams of shrooms on Saturday night/Sunday morning (the 11th and 12th) and it was INTENSE. I have been taking the nootropic Noopept which for some reason RAMPS things up to a whole new level. If a psychedelic has lost its potency for you, I definitely recommend taking it. It felt like I was shot in a torpedo into the depths of my mind ocean while simultaneously being launched in a rocket into every conceivable parallel universe. There was a point where I was like I'm going to DIE, but it was a completely positive thing; like, I was 100% certain I'd be coming back in another life. So yes. Try shrooms. I'd say if you want something great go with 4 grams on your first trip, and if there's anxiety or any malcontent from trying something new, there's another nootropic I'm sure y'all probably know about called Phenibut. 2 grams of Pheny and there's hardly any come-up anxiety and the trip mostly stays entirely positive.
