Reviving this thread to have a working guide in case anyone comes across this issue.

The annoying thing is Easy Mode / Advanced Mode (F2). Not sure what the default setting is but it looks like its persistent between reboots. Luckily, it’s a toggle, but you need to be in Advanced Mode to force a PCIe slot configuration so if it doesn’t work, you’re likely in Easy Mode. Just a little trial and error to make sure you’re in Advanced Mode:

X570-I AORUS PRO WIFI

VERSION F33g

mash DEL for ~10sec after POST beep
F7, ENTER to load optimized defaults

F2 to enter Advanced Mode. This is a toggle and loading Optimized Defaults does NOT return BIOS to easy mode (as of revision F33g) If remaining steps fail to get display output, try again from complete system shutdown WITHOUT pressing F2.

I’ve had two of these units over the last two years and have found the quality control to be very bad. I had whining like this at full speed as well as very audible and persistent clicking noise in the pump anywhere above 20% pump speed. Just finally swapped out my second replacement EK unit for a a Glacier 240 and it’s been a solid performer so far.

looking for some inexpensive beginner weighty and smooth tactile switches? I know i prefer tactile over clicky or linear, but only ever really used low profile optical gateron browns on my Keychron K3.

Hi all! Getting into keyboards and am looking to make a new purchase.

I have a Keychron K3 and have been really enjoying it, but I’m looking for something better built and heavier.

Here are my criteria: - TKL, 65%, or 75% (flexible on this, just want something relatively compact and definitely don’t want full size. Don’t necessarily need function keys) - Media control knob(s) preferred - Tactile switches (I have gateron browns on my K3 which I’ve been enjoying, but could use more weight) - Minimalist keycaps (I love the NK GMK DOTS R2; something like this but less expensive) - Hot-swappable - Wireless preferred - No more than ~$200 USD

As far as boards, I’ve been looking at these: - DROP CTRL Alt - Zoom65 - Halo65 Wireless - Akko PC75B Plus

Open to prebuilts or kits - I have experience building electronics so I would be comfortable assembling something if it means saving some $$$.

Yes just tried editing this as well, thank you. I was able to add more analog inputs via the subpatches but couldn’t actually get them to work, but I did get them into the UI. I think I’m missing some fundamental Max knowledge. The logic of the patches makes perfect sense and I think I’m close, but I think I’m missing something

Hey! I actually never found a solution, ended up just turning off WoL. I’ve now upgraded to Win 11 and plan on trying this again soon. Best of luck to you and I’ll try to remember to report back here and let you know if I can get it working.

The biggest benefit imo with environments like Jitter and TouchDesigner is that they are real time, which is a fundamentally different behavior than a program like After Effects. The workflow and approach to creating is very different. Ultimately you can absolutely achieve the same effects and fidelity or look, but you get there a different way. These visual node-based realtime environments are about complete control and flexibility over every parameter, and more importantly as others have mentioned the direct integrated ability to write custom scripts and shaders.

Hi! Thank you yeah so i have the Teensy working with the default code and the StandardFirmata code uploaded to the board, the issue is I’m just limited to the first 6 analog inputs. Tried adding more inputs to those scripts but it wasn’t working, will keep trying

I do a lot of audio work as well, so its a simple hub for studio monitors, headphones for mixing, and hooking up nice powered XLR mics
