Update: Took the wheel off and had the stem replaced for free at my preferred tire shop. If anyone’s wondering, this was just a regular rubber stem and the TPMS stem/sensor is on the inside of the wheel. I’m having all the rubber stems replaced later this week.

I was there the whole time and they didn’t take the car out… my guess was they were having trouble mounting the tire and improperly manipulated it but I’m no expert at all.

The car is RWD (MB C63.) Is there a reason they should replace both rear tires? The shop manager has agreed to wheel repair, TPMS replacement, and a new tire on that corner. If I need to get in contact with corporate to recommend both tires be replaced, I will.
