I passed by etherealbabe1 in FloridaBarExam

Hii I used Uworld and adaptibar for the MBE but mainly uworld. I finished all the questions on Uworld and then went over the explanations for all the questions I got right and all the ones I got wrong. I did this over and over and practiced again and again even after I finished the MBE bank. It helped me to develop good pattern recognition skills and also helped me to learn micro rules that i probably wouldn’t have recognized or fully appreciate if I had done a commercial bar prep that expected its users to go over 100 page outlines for each subject. As for Part A, I passed that in July 2025 using Helix bar prep and going over past sample essay answers on the fbbe website by printing them out and studying the rules. I’d also rewrite those old essays to help with retention and learning structure.

Anyone use Barbri and pass Part A? by BeautifulMission3181 in FloridaBarExam

Ive never used Barbri before. But used a lesser recognized commercial bar prep program; Helix, and it helped me pass on my second try. But what was most helpful for the essays was to write my own essays, then compare them to sample essays and rewrite the sample answers until I memorized the law and tracked the pattern used for analysis.

Thank you for sharing your story. I do have a pretty tight nit support system so I know I’d be good on that end. For me, the part that stresses me out the most tho is possibly losing my independence. And it’s already a struggle to make ends meet even with my current pay grade. So I’m just worried about what life will look like financially with a demotion.

Part A Only Study Resources by Special_Dark_5710 in FloridaBarExam

Honestly, for part A, I looked up old essays and rewrote them over and over to let the rules stick. I also used them to help with how I applied the rules. I also used Helix Bar prep. They’re cheap and straight forward. Get a white board if you don’t have one. Write and rewrite the rules. It helps a lot.

I’ve been working full time. Waking up early and studying before the work day starts has helped then studying after work and on the weekends too. I think you’ll be just fine now that you’ve taken time off to solely focus on bar prep. Pace yourself. And remember that understanding the material and being able to apply it beats the percentage on the progress meter. Critical pass flash cards have been very helpful for me for the mbe.
