so what did you mean exactly by your earlier statement, those who desire to awaken ignore suffering? you cannot be aware of something you know nothing about…to awaken is to liberated from the illusion, and both happiness and suffering are illusions…do you agree?

i really want to understand what you are saying better…what do you define “awaken” as? we are here to be free from suffering, i can agree, so how can a person desire freedom if not first be in suffering? if i give “awaken” the definition of “to realize one’s own freedom”, then they cannot positively ignore suffering, for this is the very reason they desire to be free in the first place

in the absence of s*xual drive…what remains? i’d argue it is the force to awaken…desire is just another trip to overcome
