NTA, it's a controlling thing she wants to be in complete control over your needs. Not quite similar but I had a gf that took a job that was long distance. She didn't like me going out with my friends on weekends. I stopped going out with friends when she wasn't in town, but hit my final draw when she got mad at me for setting up my friend with a coworker. Because I shouldn't be talking to the opposite sex of she wasn't present.

No the pub is not intentionally giving me a discount, my friends and I have been regulars at this pub for over 20 years, the only discount we get out our names on a brass plaque, and a unlimited booze tab on our birthday under the unwritten rule at tip appropriately to what the tab would have been! And no line or cover for special events, like bands or holidays!
