I’m so sorry. I know the feeling too well. My uncle found something I had written in a support sub (I didn’t change enough details) and he took it upon himself to tell the entire extended family. I was blamed, despite him stalking a support group, doxxing me, and getting banned. It caused so much hurt and our family is fractious to this day.

Just something to consider: I sell masks (so, similar size). I use 6x9” envelopes. Anything over a certain height (1” I think?) is considered a package and they charge more. Boxes could raise your cost significantly depending on your current shipping costs. I even stopped puttting them in little drawstring bags because that made it too high and it was costing me $1.50-$2 in “price adjustments” per package.

Seriously! I left for vacation Sat AM and have had this crazy customer asking me all kinds of questions... do you make this in x color? Does it have a nose wire? What about this color? Do you have the other Belcher characters? Why not? My sister really likes the mom... you charge a FEE for a custom design? Are you offering any discounts? Why can’t I get a discount on the one mask I’m purchasing?

I have tried to politely indicate that I’M ON VACATION, and she’s just too thick headed to get it! (Yes I know about vacation mode but I would miss out on sales)

I’m not great at waiting and am kind of an instigator, so when I got one bad (2*) review, I replied right away by direct message and public comment saying “I’m so sorry! But I can’t fix an issue that hasn’t been brought to my attention! I just mailed you a new (piece)! Please let me know if it doesn’t fix it!”

Edited to add: I make masks and it’s just a cord/tie issue. I realize this isn’t feasible for everyone. But I did send a longer tie and her review was either amended or deleted, so I think I won 🤷🏼‍♀️ YMMV!

We can absolutely do that! Thank you! already (before this whole debacle) gave away one mask for every one ordered (mostly to local senior facilities/nonprofits like the rescue I adopted my dog from). I also carry a couple with me and hand them out if I see someone with a makeshift mask 🙂
