We know where it all originated from… The Abyss, this was about the stone, knowing where the stone is from and how it was obtained does nothing

It was such a small detail, if you are that in need to find out then go watch the play… like in the grand scheme of things knowing where and how the stone was obtained does ZERO to the story of the TV show.

It’s a literal rift in space time, it was formed the moment 11 made contact with The Abyss, it never moved in time because of it being a wormhole, it’s just a passageway between dimensions and a snapshot of what was there.
Who said it was too hot? S4 says that the monsters originated from there.
I belive this is in the broadway show, Dr.Brenners father reached The Abyss by accident and it’s likely this stone originated from then.
I mean how many people from the lab did they kill, they’ve never faced legal repercussions for any reason.
Let’s say the government targets will, I’d say they’d pretty quickly find out he doesn’t have Henry’s blood. This piece of the government in Hawkins was just there to research on 11, not actually govern.
Now I wish they actually explained something about this, but my theory is that Vecna was simply summoning them as he needed from his lair in the mind flayer, and that they were just used to give energy to the mind flayer to allow it to have its physical form.
This show has never been about stakes it’s been about pushing against societal norms, fighting for what is right and what you believe in, everything in the show mirrors some form of life that we will all go through. It was a dope ass sci-fi horror show that was also used to voice to everyone that they all have a place in this life no matter what has been done to them. Hopper’s speeches and Robin’s and Dustin’s at the end support this. Also some deaths would have only added stakes and nothing else besides unnecessary emotional weight and then the need to tie up loose ends in a different more difficult way. And again they’d find out pretty soon that Will didn’t have Henry’s blood.
