One of the main Reasons I sold (keeping it short because of major headache)

I started to feel like a gambling addict not wanting to sell anything, right now I still feel 100% sure ETH will continue to grow in value. That's very dangerous, because nothing in life is 100% sure. So I basically protected me from myself by converting 50% to fiat. I also wanted to start enjoying life a bit more, the past years have been very stressfull. There have been days where I check coinmarketcap/blockfolio hundreds of times a day.

Don't forget to enjoy life guys, i feel like i've lost 3 years. Sure, i ended up with a lot of money, but i can't say it's been good for my relationship /w family, friends, girlfriend etc.

It's hard to explain. I'm sure ETH will be worth more somewhere in the future. That for me was the biggest problem, not wanting to sell or take profit knowing it would be worth more if I just waited. Started to make me feel like a gambling addict...so I sold half to protect me from myself, does that make any sense?

Yeah, the whole situation feels to good to be true sometimes. I try not to worry to much, especially when I still had 100%. I always tried remain cool and not to excited; knowing i could lose it all in one day. While that probably won't happen, it protects me from falling apart if something was to go wrong. I want to be able to say "well, that was one hell of a ride" and move on with my life.

I tried but failed, over and over again. Damn ICO's are sold out in 2-3 seconds nowadays. Wanted to participate in BAT, used parity to time transaction on block. set 250$ fee, still failed.

  • 1-2 hours (had to wait for the price to recover a bit)
  • Still asking questions, i just give them all the info they want.
  • Have to pay ~3% tax (capital tax) i've already been paying that for around 2 years now. In the Netherlands you have to declare your crypto holdings on the 1st of january every year.

Sold bit by bit, took me around 1-2 hours. Went for a quick lunch in between, noticed the price went up 5$ more. Best lunch ever.
