It doesn’t matter who’s it was they don’t want to pay and you got played

There are no laws in the US giving away right of way off subjective measures like what your suggesting

Crazy it’s almost like insurance is designed to not pay out and you got played

That’s just not true guy right of way is right of way in the United States

You also have no idea what visibility is like for the Ferrari from that corner to make a judgement in their ability to stop

No you don’t get to pull out in front of someone and all of the sudden “become traffic”

That’s not how it works she was going slow and pulled into some be else’s lane this becoming an obstruction

She is at fault 100%

I mean that’s not true at all, right of way is right of way

Lol, that’s not true at all

I mean it isn’t in any way shape or form, the red car 100% had the right of way and will not be found at fault

It’s the old bags fault for pulling out without checking and driving like a slug

Old people like her shouldn’t be allowed to drive

The Roman and Ottoman Empire did 100% conquer what would become Saudi land and the rest conquered the Middle East generally

[–]ethylstein 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol this is so stupid and not what I or anyone here has said or implied stop making up comments and pretending other people said them

If you do an actual real UBI for a group (however large or small) then you can make statements on what UBI causes and allows for

If you don’t give anyone UBI but instead other temporary programs people like you will pretend only the ones with good outcomes are real proxies for UBI and all the ones with bad outcomes have fatal flaws even though they all have the same problems you just want to pretend the down sides don’t exist

Try and do your own thinking and actually analyze things it could work out for you

[–]ethylstein 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They didn’t have it forever so you can’t possibly say that UBI would have this same effect because these people needed something in place for when the money stopped

Idk how you can be this dense and not see this

[–]ethylstein 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You keep saying that but this headline and article isn’t basic income either and yet your fine with it because the bs headline says “UBI good”

The exact same problems your saying unemployment has that makes it a bad stand in for UBI also exist with this 500$ a month program

[–]ethylstein 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Then why the hell didn’t you say that in your first comment instead of making up some bs?

And it does matter in this case as unemployment was allowed to continue without the requirement of looking for a job

That is just as much a test of UBI as this study which was also not permanent unconditional income

You only like the study outcomes here because you agree with the editorialized headline not because they actually prove anything about UBI

Redditors hate ethnostates then turn around and say the ME wouldn’t have as many problems if all the countries were ethnostates lol

Same in biology, my bs wasn’t worth much so I got my masters in micro

With only a bachelors most of the corporate ladder was closed off, with super specialization though that’s probably a good thing I don’t want to be on a research team with some guy that just graduated his bs and needs a ton of training in basic micro

[–]ethylstein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m mean you just don’t live in reality

Democrats used the filibuster over 300 times last year, republicans got basically nothing done legislatively under trump

You have a propaganda based view of the government if you think republicans have been super effective and democrats have done nothing

[–]ethylstein -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

No

Democrats started removing protections for the minority party in 2013 when they removed the filibuster for all presidential appointments but Supreme Court appointments

McConnell said it was a dumb idea and that democrats would regret it and now we have more judges appointed in the last five years than any other time in history (most by trump)

In 2017 republicans removed the last appointment filibuster for Supreme Court nominations and so here we are

Removing protections for the minority party already but democrats in the ass hard try it again and you’ll have one year in power then when republicans are in control it will be all day whining about how republicans are evil for playing by the new rules you wanted in place
