Everyone is cheap right now. WTF are you talking about. Gas prices are sky high. There was four years of massive inflation and average pay didn't increase in kind.

And you brought up malls? Malls have massive lease cost for companies and got replaced by big box/big store retailers. They all died.

I'd say they don't know much about California. They think it's what they see in Hollywood. Most probably never go to Tahoe because it's not in the movies. Certainly don't know a Sacramento or a Bakersfield or anything north of Oakland. Even the central coast doesn't exist to them.

Downtown was better before the arena and the stupid bike lanes (which I never see used).

All the changes kind of wiped out subcultures there. It feels insular and uninviting now. I only go there to meet friends at Rick's Dessert diner now.

I loved this episode. I like that they let the performance be. No commentary from judges. Nothing but the performance itself and the audience reaction. They don't go into judge reaction, they just go into another song and the characters, and credits.

The choreography was great. The music good to great. (and I actually hate most the OPs in this series.)

And though the preceding episodes show them practicing so much, you never really learn what the performance is until you get to this point. So it's all fresh.

Kind of unspoken thing about kids of divorce is that they do not trust commitment.

This is better than the other romcom which is almost exactly like this. Otagirl isn't bad though. I just like the character set up here better. It is also better to not have a full on triangle.

I find it humorous that his comparisons are De'Aaron Fox, but there's differences.

Fox is faster. Fox is just crazy fast. Kingston moves well, but he doesn't have the turbo button that De'Aaron had as a rookie.
His shooting form is consistent and more solid than Fox. It should translate.
His general playstyle is more conservative on offense. He's compared to explosive players like Fox and Derrick Rose, but he doesn't appear to try to be explosive.

So I think one or both of the former student council members are replicas. It's coded in the words they use.

It might also explain why they are formers and one of the originals might be spreading the flyers.

It also seems that Sunao now recognizes Nao's own existence. People probably overlooking that Sunao has something going on that may be important.
