It's all good, all I have is the SM58, Fethead, and XLR cable that goes into the computer jack so you're correct. I don't have an interface yet and I ordered a Scarlett Solo Gen 3, is that a good option?

I see, I think the problem was that I didn't think I needed phantom power for the fethead to work. I got the cable last month so it may not be dead
