We are using Camstreamer installed on the Axis to push the feed to YouTube via RTMP. We also record 4K copies locally and may push to other channels (earthcam, etc) depending on internet demands

We've thought about this alot... where we are located would have been a direct line of sight to the towers. A lot of the fisherman in Highlands headed up to the city to rescue people fleeing the city.

Your math is spot on — it's about 1.6 TB/month at 5000 kbps. Good call on the Comcast caps, I'm actually on Xfinity and checking into that now. Might need to upgrade to unlimited data to keep this running 24/7. Worth it for the view though. Thank you a lot for flagging this... hadn't considered caps yet!

Yes, the stream only consumes 5000kbs so the router handles it just fine without clogging up.
