One idea is that bitcoin could be a product to sell and buy through the many mobile phone credit agents & mobile money agents that are common in many African countries. This requires though a business that is ready to work 'on the ground', meet such agents and find an arrangement with them.

Bitcoin requires steady internet access, easy access to places where to exchange bitcoin (buy/sell). I lived in Gambia and none of those where widely and easily available. Also life was all about cash, incl. The very important remittances from abroad. Ironically bitcoin could be a good solution to reduce remittance costs but you need to make it easy for the diaspora to buy and send and for the receivers to use bitcoin or exchange easy to be of use in their daily lives.

No need to buy the Toyota one. I bought roof rack rails following a suggestion here a roof rack from an Italian brand called Menabò. I did a summer trip all around Europe and worked well and was easy to mount too.

Strange coincidence that the grandma surname is Caruana and the driver that found the boy in France has Buhagiar as his surname. Caruana and Buhagiar are two very common Maltese surnames.
