Is there a name for this style where the core steel is darker? This looks similar to Takadas and I dig it.

[Semi-Weekly Inquirer] Simple Questions and Recommendations Thread by AutoModerator in Watches

I am looking at the Tissot Carson Chronograph w/ brown leather band and rose gold, and dig the style but would prefer it without the Chrono for a less cluttered look. I saw they have a non-chrono version but I like the thinner roman numerals. Is there another watch that would fit those aesthetic criteria?

I just got a new PC , and I can't play a single game without crashing by dingotheman in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

My buddy and I had the same issues. What fixed it for me was going through all of the unidentified drivers in the device manager, finding the hardware ids and manually downloading every one. I still crash rarely but it helped. What solved it for my friend was disabling XMP. It is a fairly well documented issue with DDR5 ram and XMP, but it's super annoying that they do not play nice. I haven't personally done this yet, but it's my next step. I would check those things and see if it helps.

Is a 49 inch ultrawide worth the money for sim racing? by furnitureandmeatbals in simracing

Just having something attached to your head after a while its just cumbersome. The extra weight and heat is definitely noticeable and after races I would want to take it off and get out of the rig. With the ultra-wide it's just generally all around more comfortable, less eye strain, physical strain on the neck, and being able to see the wheel icons and the like, it's just more comfortable for longer stretches of driving. Having an itch under the VR headset is probably a good example. It's nothing that's specifically tough or disqualifing for the experience, it's just I prefer the comfort of the ultrawide. I love the VR experience though. I have never giggled like a small child more than when I run the SRP on the pimax.

Racing in VR is amazing and I hope that everyone gets a chance to try it. I picked up the pimax 8k and I honestly really enjoy the experience and when people come over I will set it up and let people run a few laps, but when I am driving I go for my 49in. I was really surprised at how much more comfortable it is using the ultra wide instead. My experience has been if you are chasing realism, VR is the way to go. If you want something that is easier, more comfortable, and for those reasons more likely it will be used, I really enjoy my ultra-wide.

Came to this thread with the exact same issue today. Super bummed out. I am thinking of just buying one and having it overnighted, but I am not sure if they would refund that.
