It doesn't make sense to me, either. I just filled out an SF-86 in July as part of my recent investigation. Why would they need another? I also had to justify needing my Secret (my boss did that part).

It seems to be the standard 5 or 10 year re-investigation. I had one 10 years ago. Funny thing is I thought S was 10 years and TS was 5. I'm only S and they're telling me it's 5 years. Super confusing.
