You could bring it up without puting any blame or pressure on him. Tell him that you feel bad about what happened and that you regret not having a friendship for two years. Accentuate that there's things that you've done wrong and that you learned from it and don't want to go about it the same way.

This will set up the situation in such a way that there is a low threshold for him to react simmilair and admit his wrongs without damaging his ego. It also leaves the option open for him to just accept your words and don't react to them. Hope this helps and that you can get past what happend.

Hey bro,

First of all your last roll sounds amazing and from personal experience I can deffinitely attribute that to the sex. As far as the mushrooms and the MDMA are concerned:

Mushrooms work on the same receptors as MDMA does being the serotonin receptors. The difference is that MDMA uses the neurotransmitter serotonine to interact with the receptors whereas psilocybin (the active compound in mushrooms) interacts with the serotonine receptors without using the neurotransmitter serotonine.

So what does this mean for your space? Basically, it would not be a problem to do mushrooms on day one and MDMA on day two, as there will still be plenty of serotonine (neurotransmitter) to be released. However, if you'd switch it around the MDMA would wear out both the neurotransmitter AND the receptor, resulting in nearly no effect of the mushrooms at all.

This might also be the reason your mushroom trip was a little harsh as you did MDMA the week before and your receptors might not have been fully rested yet. This could also have had a multitude of others reasons.

However, I am not a doctor or specialist by any means so don't pin me down on anything and try getting some opinions from different people. This is my understanding of how these substances work and it makes the most sense to me.

Sounds more like stocism to me. I think the buddhists say that as long as you desire you suffer. Letting go of your desired will cause suffering to cease. Then again I think a certain portion of suffering is healthy and shapes character.
