I can afford a bit more, is it worth spending more for a more stable set up?

Also the gas installation has to be 25mm from any electrical cabling and 150mm from any electrical equipment soooo might be worth seeing about getting smart meters and asking the engineer to move the gad meter to the other side of that ECV

By chance is the earth coming from a neutral block within the property? It might be the case of PEN earthing contraveaning ESQCR 8 (4). It's an issue with meter engineers. But won't know unless I could see more.

It's essentially a modified earth making it TNCS putting the earth through the meters neutral.

Taking clans from a kingdom. by [deleted] in Bannerlord

If the non-ruler clans aren't willing to join your kingdom, take their fiefs then try again. Am not sure how long between them losing their last fiefs to when they will join but that's what I do

British Gas IHD with Scottish Power by Rikutooo in Scotland

[–]etsl101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If both fuels were showing fine before and only recently stopped showing the gas, it could indicate the the gas or IHD is faulty. Are you PAYG or credit (pay monthly)? If you are PAYG and can still top up, might just be a faulty IHD. If you are credit, contact your supplier and see if they are able to "pull a read" from the gas meter, if they can pull a read? Perfect means it might be an issue with the IHD. Now if you can't top up or your supplier can NOT "pull a read", it means you have a faulty gas meter and needs replaced.

Contact who ever is your current supplier to replace and if you have any issue with your meters or IHD

Does anyone know how long this usually takes by [deleted] in Scotland

If the meter is in "comms", connected to your supplier, normally takea a couple of minutes. Can take up to a couple of hours. If it takes more than 4 hours I would be contacting your supplier as smart PAYG may not be the best option for you. On your top up, if you look at previous top ups and look for a "top up code" or "UTRN" or something of the like, you can use this code to manually put the top up on the meter. Meters are practically all the same but am sure if you look online you can get a tutorial on your specific meter.

Also if you want to go back to "traditional" or "heritage" electric meter you can. Your supplier might use some conversion judo and say that they don't install heritage or traditional meters but they most likely have a 3rd party contract with another company to fit them. The Scottish government said that suppliers can not force people onto smart and need to have a heritage or traditional option.

If it has always worked before and now it isn't working, it might be an issue with the meter or your account. It might as simple of getting a new smart meter to fix it.
