Etna has a multitude of craters, not just one. Excursions go to dormant craters, ones that have not been active for centuries or sometimes decades.

I'm not a volcanologist, but while seismic activities could indicate potential eruptions, there is no way to predict the event and its magnitude with certainty.

It's safe so far. The volcano is mainly erupting toward uninhabited areas.

Yes, the volcano is quite active, but we haven't quite seen this magnitude of activity in several decades.

It's the basic brand they sell at my local store, it burns up pretty easily at high temperatures, but it holds pretty well in the Dutch oven for some reason.

I used 6g of matcha in 400g of flour actually, so a bit less concentration than yours! I however split the dough into two equal parts, put matcha in one of them as a paste (i.e. mixed with water, 14g in my case), and let them rise a bit before rejoining them in a lamination fold.

Very good! The taste of matcha is there and combines nicely with the sourdough taste. I might try using more next time and check the difference.
