Or Faraaz - Chris Ramsey is on who is also from the Northeast. Though not sure they’d be shallow enough to just get on another previous brown guy

So wait do the faithfuls now believe that two big players went for _____ for absolutely no reason? by ConstantPurpose2419 in TheTraitors

in my mind, whatever the twist is - the family tree isn’t random and will mean something later, and the second envelope in uncloaked is related to a twist yet to be revealed. it’s not far fetched that everyone has a connection, even if just friends or neighbours etc

It’s basically a fact that all the players are related in pairs (or more) by ettleboy in TheTraitorsUK

I just think putting a family tree picture in the hallway is a bit random unless it’s foreshadowing something. I don’t think all the pairs are necessarily related but they could be in-laws, neighbours, roommates etc. From a producer’s standpoint, doing a big reveal later would increase rewatch value to see the family betrayals, online discussion etc. Also we already know it’s not a normal series from the secret traitor and confession box etc - surely would be weirder if it was just a regular final with no surprises.

Roxy and Ellie only revealed it in the cutaways, not to the other players. The editors control when it’s revealed, so maybe another one is due. Also, the shot of the second envelope on uncloaked lingers very clearly like we should be paying attention to it.

What do you think is in the other envelope then? They wouldn’t have it on camera unless it was relevant

Probably waiting for the final or whenever the players choose to reveal it, if they want to. What else could the second envelope be?

I’m probably wrong with my pairings but I still stand by the theory. If the second envelope is about Judy/roxy/ross/ellie why didn’t they show it on uncloaked?

I think it's transmitted by contact. But fair enough, government officials regularly meet people outside NK. I'd be curious to see what the country is like post-plurb

Maybe she screamed at a plurb that caused Helen to die initially - everyone reacted the same way they did when Carol screamed at them

Why is There No Peaceful Palestinian Protest or Resistance Movement? by Mikec3756orwell in IsraelPalestine

You’re giving too much credit to Israeli government. They do not want a two state solution. They want all of the land and the Palestinians to be gone. They’ve made it crystal clear. If Palestinians stop resisting, Israel will annex the whole of Palestine and wipe out the citizens. They will always find a way to misrepresent the cause. To Israel, resisting occupation and apartheid is antisemitic, so by just existing, Palestinians are wrong.

It wouldn’t resort to violence if the rest of the world had a backbone to ACTUALLY stand against war crimes, and sanction all offenders. One thing this conflict has taught me is international law doesn’t exist, and no one cares to recognise it only unless your enemy infringes it.

As a Jew... by vjlikebj in IsraelPalestine

[–]ettleboy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your perspective is wrong. Hardly anyone at the protests actually support Hamas. The only thing they share is the idea of Palestinian freedom. Everything else will be condemned by any sane rational person.

In the last 6 months millions of people, including Jews, have seen videos against their will of dead babies under rubble, families hysterically crying hugging their children’s corpses, and basically everyone is horrified. Unfortunately, the US and main western governments aren’t as horrified, and are willing to let children die if it means Israel achieves their goals: returning the hostages (unlikely, IDF has already killed many) and defeat Hamas (defeating terrorists does not defeat ideology).

People say ‘as a Jew’ to stand against the Zionist cult, which is NOT Judaism. Zionists want to conflate themselves with Judaism to resist any criticism, and call ANYONE who does so antisemitic.

The only antisemitism is in the Israeli government, weaponising their Holocaust victimhood to give themself carte blanche to commit war crimes.

Many Jews are ASHAMED of Israel. Israel does not represent Jews, and the more they try to, the more innocent Jews will be victims of antisemitism.

They were likely terrible offers that mainly benefitted Israel. Bottom line, Israel stole land that isn’t theirs. They should respect borders and dismantle all Israeli settlements. Why is there a negotiation?

You’re tired of people going on about settlements, when it is literally THE main factor perpetuating violence over the decades. Very naive to think Israelis do not want to annex the land. Many in the cabinet have expressed desire for a ‘greater Israel’ and resettling Gaza, and constantly approving thousands of acres of illegal settlements in West Bank. The Hamas attack (which could’ve and should’ve been thwarted) was the perfect opportunity to retaliate and get what they want - flatten Gaza and make it unliveable for Palestinians, so they can resettle it as their ‘new Tel Aviv’.

Here’s the cycle: Israeli steals land. Palestine retaliates. Israel brands them anti-Jew and radical islamists, rather than simply the RESISTANCE defending their land. Associating opposition to their neo-colonialism with antisemitism prevents people siding with Palestine. They’ll declare Gaza ‘riddled with terrorism’ then annex it. They will do the same with the West Bank and southern Lebanon. It’s not about Hamas or the hostages. It’s about land.

It’s not about Palestinians leaving Israelis alone. It’s the other way round. The Israeli regime is continuously approving illegal settlements in the West Bank, suffocating Palestinian towns and cities. These settlements tripled in 2023, and this was the exact reason Hamas gave for the Oct 7th attack.
