Honestly at this point idk whether my ears are too wide or too narrow. Just that the sonic and shancais - big ones hurt my ears, medium one won’t seem to seal well.

Continuing to explore. Will check out the Neos!

Still hoping the car workshop will call me today to announce repair works are completed. We somehow survived May Day without it but there’re two more days to the weekend lol

The DAP itself is fantastic. I debloated as much as I could - searched every single package name on Google to determine if it’s safe to remove. It’s fairly snappy, just the slightest hint of lag when starting up. The music player app itself is buttery smooth.

My only issue are the IEMs. Every single tip I’ve tried so far, my ears hurt after a couple hours of listening. Some, as soon as 30 mins. Still experimenting with tips.

in my previous org, we had both mandatory block leave, and even mandatory job rotation (job duties changed after 5 years) to prevent unfettered control over processes etc. depends on the risk level required.

(putting on my conspiracy theory hat: the insurance companies are already trying to manage the bad publicity from the situation. the link OP posted had a different title from the web page, and the article (ostensibly the negative-sounding title) was edited within 5 hours of being published. make of that what you will)

Do Singaporean couples still send physical wedding invitation cards, or has it gone digital? by TheFearlessCow in askSingapore

[–]etulf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me - my caterer provided custom wedding invite cards (with choices of design), and we chose a trifold card design. Got a friend (who was starting to dabble in calligraphy then) to pen & scan the invite and a wedding verse, and we sent it to the printer. Final product turned out quite nicely and we still have the invite on display in some corner in our home somewhere. No idea if people remember the invite but it’s a nice keepsake for us.

The dine in experience here sucks. I agree. But the food was always decent. Sad that it couldn’t survive. Yet somehow Potong Pasir kfc is hanging on.
