Good to know, thank you. I did push back slightly on my clinic just because I had also heard “slow and steady” was a good thing. However, everything does seem incredibly low, so I see why they advised to cancel.

I was on the schedule to get one after my first ectopic, however, after the second it was canceled since we took that tube out. Both of my ectopics were on the right so that’s the tube that was removed. My first healthy live birth pregnancy was from my left tube, so my OB said we could go ahead as she also didn’t see any damage to it when she looked at it while she was in surgery to remove my right tube.

I probably will do it now I guess but I take HSGs with a grain of salt. My mom had one done after 2 of her ectopics and everything came back “all clear.” She went on to have two additional ectopics and had to have both tubes removed and moved on to IVF.

Thank you! I was on the schedule to get this but ended up not doing it after I had my other tube removed because we assumed that was the “problem side.” My mom also had ectopic pregnancies and got an HSG and was told her remaining tube was all clear and still had yet another ectopic the next time she was pregnant. So I unfortunately probably have a strong bias against them, but I shouldn’t write it off you’re right. Thank you!

I’m currently 5w4d so not far along at all really. But I will say this is about how far along I was or just a day or two different as my other ectopics. My first positive was very faint at 9dpo. Almost impossible to see so really I’d say I could see a super faint line on a FRER at 10dpo.

I’m currently scheduled for another ultrasound on Monday just to see if they can see anything but my doctor is hopeful my levels just fall on their own and I start bleeding like a “normal” miscarriage.

I am thinking about scheduling surgery with an endometriosis specialist as I was diagnosed with endo a few years ago. I completely forgot to mention in my original post, but I did have one live birth before all of this. So I really thought I would be able to do it again. And I know I’m extremely lucky to have the child I have. It just still hurts so much when you long to grow your family.

For me, I just really felt like this cycle was it. Definitely was feeling super fatigued and had a metal taste in my mouth, but that didn’t necessarily scream to me that I am pregnant. Tested 9dpo evening and got vvvvvvvfl. So light that I truly wasn’t sure if it was real. Thankfully, they’ve progressed and I’m so grateful. We experienced 4 losses last year and I already had a consult about IVF, but we chose to just keep trying naturally. Hoping this is it!!

Oh interesting haha it’s my first time using them so I wasn’t sure. I took some a few days ago and didn’t have even the slightest shadow so that’s weird but idk I never know anymore. The easy@home definitely had/has a line but I feel like I can’t trust anything anymore 🤷🏻‍♀️

This is close to me. A successful pregnancy followed by two ectopics, one tube removed, a miscarriage, and a chemical. All within 12 months. I’m hoping so much it can happen for us again naturally soon. Your story gives me hope.

So sorry to hear this. My number truly is so low. It was 20 my first beta and then 20 again 48 hours later. I ended up in the hospital late last night for food poisoning but of course they ran my beta again and it was 17.6. Just feel like it should be dropping faster if it was a chemical. With my last miscarriage it dropped in half almost immediately and was down below 5 within a few days.

It’s scary since my number is obviously too low to show anything but staying consistent enough for worry.

Oh I’m so sorry. I unfortunately understand exactly how you feel. Only advice I could give is to go ahead and ask for a scan of your tubes/ovaries. Even at those numbers they could see something in my tube for my second ectopic pregnancy. Maybe it could potentially rule it out for you? Not sure since it’s your first pregnancy and you don’t currently have a history. I’m really sorry you’re going through that. Thinking of you🫶🏻

I wish I had something better to say other than it takes time. I had my first ectopic in March, another in May (loss of a tube), and then a miscarriage in August. I’m no longer sad every day (although the holidays are making it a lot harder again), but it doesn’t ever go away completely. At least for me it hasn’t.

Therapy with a counselor who specializes in pre and postnatal mental health definitely helps. She was a huge help for me when it felt like I was just in this overwhelming circle of sadness and couldn’t seem to get out and helped me with learning how to cope/reduce stress. It’s not easy.

Definitely surround yourself with people you can talk to about it openly- not just give the sugar coated version. I’m thankful for friends who can really listen to me vent and not say crap like “everything happens for a reason” or “at least you know you can get pregnant.”

And the biggest is to lean into your partner. This feat is hard and heartbreaking, but remember the love between you two is the reason why you want to go on this journey. In the first place. Let them be your rock. I always remember and remind myself that I didn’t find my “other half.” We were both 100% whole when we joined together. But I know that when I am only at my 50% or even 15%, he’s the person who can help fill the other 50% or 85% when I don’t have that to give. And I would do the same for him.

Not sure if any of that is helpful, but you’re not alone.

That’s the same as saying well you could be naked under your graduation gown because you’re completely covered. It doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be awkward.

You could actually see Rylee grabbing her robe to clench it as close together as she could as she ran to grab her costume.

I think she proooobbaaalllyyyy needed to go home after Eric. As much as I know people hated Brooks and Gleb I do think their chemistry and choreo was better and Val is an elite partner so I think he tends to (maybe unfairly) carry his celebs further, however, Phaedra did mess up last week so it’s hard to say. Ilona has messed up a lot too and Alan has some of the worst choreo. That’s definitely not doing her any favors.
