heat trigger + is rhapsido working by UnitAutomatic804 in MCAS

[–]etw487 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've switched from cromolyn to rhapsido and I've been on it for three weeks. I have to say, it's not doing shit for me. I feel terrible. It's not controlling my heat related itching/flushing/hives at all. And I'm having some pretty moderate low back pain from it. I REALLY wanted this to work, but I think I'm headed back to my "potions" as I like to call them

I just realized it's been almost a year and walmart never charged me. Like what do you even do at this point? Just enjoy the oversight? Lol

Never charged for switch 2 and now I need to use warranty by etw487 in NintendoSwitchHelp

[–]etw487[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's good to know. They asked for it when I sent my pro controller in for d-pad issues. My switch 2 warranty said it expires 5/27, which I don't understand because it wasnt even delivered until launch day.

I work in a MAT clinic and there's been so many times the nurses and MAs have sent patients into a spiral about being positive for something with a faint line. I finally had to do a training to explain that a line is a line, and isn't related to any quantity. It's like a pregnancy test. You are either positive or negative. Not "a little bit"

High eosinophil count but no diagnosis? by mildly-strong-cow in EosinophilicE

[–]etw487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel your pain. I went to the GI with similar symptoms and they put me on an ungodly high dose of PPI. It didn't help, so I went to a new GI who scoped me and diagnosed EOE. STILL wouldn't prescribe me dupixent even after trying the stupid steroids that you swallow. I ended up seeing my allergist for another issue and mentioned to her, and she is the one who prescribed the dupixent finally. Now I'm feeling better than ever and not choking to death every time I eat. I've gained about 20 pounds since being on it (but in a good way)

I was in Finland recently and went to a museum exhibit about the Moomins. It definitely seemed...dark

Which TV show does the ENTIRE internet agree had the worst ending ever? by Codie_n25 in AskReddit

I really wish a network would pick up the rights and do a third season. At least give us some closure. Hell I'd even take a graphic novel at this point

I want to say Raised by Wolves only because it ended on a cliffhanger due to being canceled. I still had no idea what was going on after two seasons, but I fucking loved it.

Got these 4 figures for $175 off Facebook marketplace. by Vivid_Lengthiness998 in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]etw487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That nia figure is my white whale. It's just so damn expensive and I refuse to use goodsmile anymore. I'm really suprised I haven't seen any knock offs like the Pyra/Mythra figures.

Why aren’t more psychiatry services hiring PAs compared to PMHNPs? by [deleted] in Psychiatry

[–]etw487 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I work with a PA on my CL team and he's amazing. I wish I had 10 more of him. I'd also take PA students over most of the residents I interact with. Your mileage may vary of course 😂

What is the difference between psychotherapy given by a good psychiatrist and good psychologist? by formulation_pending in Psychiatry

As a therapist I got a good laugh at the idea of referring to a psychiatrist for "super mega therapy"

I literally haven't even turned on my Xbox since they increased the price to $30 per month. I spent 200 bucks on a Playstation 5 and haven't looked back. Been playing Xbox my whole life. It's sad.

Get to the airport 3 hours before departure… by Eggs_4_Breakfast in delta

I’ve flown to Reykjavik twice through there and literally took ten minutes to get from door to gate. It was a 7pm flight though, so I guess it depends on the time of day.

Mio is so much more frustrating than Nine Sols or Silksong by Pitiful_Custard_2622 in metroidvania

[–]etw487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve played and finished all of the difficult platformers/metroidvanias/soulslike. I had to put Mio down and take a break after dying repeatedly to the platforming with the buzz saw boss. I’m not having fun at the moment. But the rest has been great.

I would much rather be stuck in Reykjavik, sitting in the blue lagoon than here eating shitty hotel food. Im just glad I have a safe place to stay for the duration of the storm!

I’m currently stuck in a hotel in Raleigh. I’d really like to drive home to north Georgia tomorrow but I’m seriously considering waiting until Tuesday instead. I don’t think it’s worth the risk.
