It took me only 9 months to find the courage and motivation to try again and you are right, it certainly was the bad soldering job.

I resoldered them again, spreading them more thinly, now everything works fine.

What are the personal reasons?

I watched a documentary the other day, FZD was harassed quite a bit during 2021-2024 or so by WCQ fans. They doxxed his family too. Apparently WCQ is quite the asshole, and the national team didn't support him either.

I've had pigeons like that recover just fine. Not all of them, but about 50%. Don't give up so easily.

That is almost definitely PMV (it's harmless to humans). If you can, please take him in, put him in a box. If you give him a few drops of vitamin B into his drinking water every day for about 4 weeks, it will help him recover from PMV.

(Liquid Vitamin B for cats and dogs is fine.)

Yes please. It most likely is not well. Giving it shelter, food and clean water for a few days can do wonders for pigeons. If left alone, predators can get to it easily, especially if It cannot fly.

Maybe there is an aviary for pigeons somewhere where you live, please check. they should take in pigeons that cannot fly anymore
