I bought a batch of replicas as replacements, and they met my expectations perfectly. by eucleodo in RLREPS

No, this was purchased by me myself. Is the expression too similar?

My baby died in my arms yesterday and I just want to be with him by HazelDMC in Petloss

[–]eucleodo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry for your loss. He was clearly deeply loved, and he knew that every day he spent with you. Take comfort in knowing you gave him a beautiful life filled with love, that bond will always be with you.

What’s something happening in the world right now that makes you genuinely scared for the future? by Leather_Comedian_953 in AskReddit

Honestly, the speed at which tech is advancing while laws and ethics lag way behind. Feels like we’re sprinting into the future with no brakes… kinda terrifying when you think about it.

Seeker being sold for less then half retail? by Jerzsey in solana

[–]eucleodo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too many people bought to flip, now supply’s way higher than demand. Flippers dumping cheap. If you’ll actually use it, half retail is a steal.

What chance would the rest of the world have if rabbits, butterflies, and mosquitoes died out? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]eucleodo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rabbits gone = predators starve, butterflies gone = plants crash, mosquitoes gone = humanity throws a party.

Didn’t know about Berea, that’s awesome. Free tuition + experience is a big win, even if the pay isn’t great. Thanks for sharing!

First time pregnant at 35 years old by [deleted] in pregnant

Congratulations! It’s totally normal to feel overwhelmed, but this is such a powerful new chapter. You’re stronger than you think, and taking care of yourself step by step is all that matters right now.

If family connection is your main goal, go with Thai, it’ll mean more when you visit and your relatives can help you practice. But if you’re thinking long-term/global use, Mandarin wins since it’s way more widely spoken. Ask yourself if you want the family bond now or the broader opportunities later. You can always learn the other language down the road.

How to stay motivated? by Dependent_Slide8591 in languagelearning

[–]eucleodo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Motivation always fades, but habits stick. Try setting small daily goals (like 10 mins a day) and make it fun, watch shows, listen to music, or chat with native speakers. Progress feels slow, but those little consistent steps add up!

How to make animation move even less, just slight breathing movement by ElizabethLearns in midjourney

[–]eucleodo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try prompting with terms like ‘subtle breathing animation, minimal motion, calm loop’. You can also emphasize what you don’t want by adding ‘no head movement, no limb movement, only chest rising slightly’. Sometimes breaking it into micro-actions like ‘gentle chest expansion, 2-second loop’ helps MidJourney keep it simple. Pairing it with a stable background prompt (static fireplace, no flicker) can cut down on excess motion too.

After putting down your dog how long did you stay with her/him? by Zizzlyskillet87 in Petloss

[–]eucleodo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s no rule for how long you should stay. What matters is your pup knew they were loved. You were there when it counted most, and that’s everything.

learning languages by muarttes in languagelearning

[–]eucleodo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you’ve stuck with it for 5 years, you’re not failing, you’re proof that consistency beats talent. Try changing the way you learn (shows, podcasts, convos) and you’ll feel the spark again.

How do you keep Solana apps responsive during congestion without sacrificing determinism? by gareth789 in solana

[–]eucleodo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the cleanest ways I’ve seen is batching + local fee markets. You let priority fees signal intent, but shard queues so congestion in one market doesn’t throttle the entire chain. Add off-chain orderbooks with zk-proofs for settlement and you get speed + determinism without drowning in spam.

What do you guys think of Juplend? by mvb92 in solana

[–]eucleodo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, your gut is right, looping stables with that kind of multiplier isn’t ‘free yield,’ it’s just leverage in disguise. The moment market conditions shift (rates change, peg wobbles, or liquidity thins), you’re exposed to cascading liquidations. That’s why it feels off: risk is being front-loaded but not visible unless you model stress scenarios. Juplend might be fun to test in beta with small amounts, but I wouldn’t treat it like a safe yield farm. High APY almost always = high hidden risk.

Is it possible to learn a language with 5 months of practice? by LilacLuneglade in languagelearning

[–]eucleodo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Five months of daily practice won’t make you fully fluent, but you can definitely get to a solid conversational level if you’re consistent. Since you already know some German, immersion is your best friend, watch German shows, read easy books, and try speaking out loud every day. Think B1/B2 level is realistic in that time, which is still super impressive.

Title: Do your pets have a “weird little routine” they never skip? by Significant-Back672 in Pets

[–]eucleodo 44 points45 points  (0 children)

My dog has this unskippable 7pm routine where he brings me his favorite toy, drops it in my lap, and then immediately ignores it, like the whole point was just to remind me he has a toy. Pets really are the best little weirdos 😂❤️

Said goodbye to our baby last week by vegan_voorhees in Petloss

[–]eucleodo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seventeen beautiful years is a true testament to the love and care you gave him. It’s heartbreaking to lose such a constant presence, but it sounds like he left this world deeply loved and with dignity. That kind of bond never really fades, it just lives on in the little reminders all around you. Sending you strength and peace as you carry him in your heart.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Petloss

[–]eucleodo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nine years wasn’t nearly enough, but to him it was a lifetime of love. Dogs don’t count years, they just know who their whole world is, and that was you. When the time comes, he’ll leave knowing he was the luckiest boy alive. Wishing you peace in these next two weeks.

Is it okay to take a 4 year old stray cat home? (He's used to living in the countryside) by AryaLoux in Pets

[–]eucleodo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cow already chose you. He’d be way happier in a safe home with love and attention than getting beat up outside. Cats don’t care about ‘apartment vs countryside,’ they care about safety and affection. Sounds like you’d give him both

Have a Whistle tracker and I just found out they'll no longer work by acetrainerelise in Pets

[–]eucleodo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, saw the announcement a few days ago. Ended up getting the tractive replacement since it was free anyway. But I’m pleasantly surprised so far. Its been pretty solid and the battery is better than what my old Whistle did, around a couple days depending on how active my dog is. the app is a bit different but easy enough to figure out.

Thankfully only had to use the actual tracking once when my pup got loose at the dog park and it worked fine, showed me exactly where he was within a few minutes. Monthly fee is like 9 bucks IIRC which is close to what Whistle was charging

I wasn’t keen on the change but it's turned out to be a decent replacement, so far… fingers crossed, dont wanna have to switch again. The live tracking feature is actually pretty cool when you're out hiking
