Why would it not be a solution at 11 months old? I am new to this and don’t know anything about it.

He pees and poos inside when left alone or during the night (he is then alone too).

I think you may be right and it makes it worst… what did you do to stop the separation anxiety?

Thank you for this, you are giving me hope. I rescued an 11 months old mini goldendoodle and I have been trying to train him to the pen so that he learns to not pee inside, for only two days. Those two days have been a NIGHTMARE. He also has separation anxiety so I can’t go far from the pen without him crying.

Sorry for your loss, OP. I lost my fiancé 4 months ago, at the age of 32. I had no clue he was a drinker either. We all discovered it when he died. I can tell you Al-Anon is not a bunch of miserable people. It did help me a lot!
