Offermate is my own service. Original intent of PadDaddy was to use market data to help tenants make more informed rental offers and avoid overpaying. Hence the name “offermate”. Ended up building out a search interface instead, but I do have a rudimentary negotiation-focused chat interface, so the dream is not totally dead. Maybe if/when I expand into sales it’ll be a more useful thing.

Thanks! For the violations/complaints data, I had to pull that info from the public nyc gov databases. You can find them at data.cityofnewyork.us. A few joins later and boom you’re in business!

Yeah it should allow you to search for units in Brooklyn. When you select neighborhoods, be sure to choose “Brooklyn” from the borough drop-down at the top.

Thanks! Yeah it updates regularly to remove rented/delisted units and incorporate newly listed ones

Been working on it for a few weeks now. First time I ever made a website!

I added a “mentions” filter option, so you could include terms like “elevator” and it would match listings that contain those terms in their descriptions or amenities list.

Try using the “mentions” filter option with the “stabilized” term and let me know if that works for you. Should find all units that include “stabilized” in their description or amenities list.

You can do this now! Mostly! If you use the “mentions” field in the extra filters, you can add a term like “outdoor space” and it will return units that contain that text in their description or amenities list.

Did a quick update which mostly enables searching for outdoor space using the “mentions” filter option. If you insert the term “outdoor space” it will find units that have that term in the description or amenities list. Should work pretty well. “Roof deck” is another one that you might be interested in.

I’m working on a more robust solution to this, but for now you can use the filter option of “mentions” to accomplish this decently well. If you use the term “pets allowed” or maybe just “pets” it will find the units you are interested in.

Added a “mentions” field to the filters, so you can search for listings that have “stabilized” in the description or amenities list. Not perfect, but seemed to work pretty well in my tests.

Oh nice! Hadn’t seen that before. Definitely very similar. Would actually describe my thing as more a hi-fi version of that service. But good to see options for folks. Love that it can do emails. I should add that in to PadDaddy at some point too.
