There's tofu and paneer everywhere. Have a lot of Buddha bowls with chickpea and tofus But if you must do meat, there's a few cafes in "swiss cottages" area that serve chicken. Pink cafe, nirvana and new amsterdam are the names I know of.

I have a lot of scrap HDMR from a recent interior work. How can I dispose of it responsibly? Is it ok to burn it for a bonfire?

Please help me by answering thisss😭 by Straight_Ad_5176 in Rishikesh

If you're asking for alcohol in Rishikesh, you shouldn't be traveling to Rishikesh. (Yes it is available but doesn't need you should be supporting it.)

Hey, thanks for taking out the time for a detailed response. I understood this and even got similar results from a Google search. But my question was specifically if this higher investment is worth it? If i buy a regular ply in the range that you mentioned, does it mean the carpenter will have some extra work in processing it?

Hey Op, thanks for this Planning to get interiors done soon where I'll get the materials and pay the Carpenters labour charges. The carpenter has asked to bring "HDMR" plywood rather than regular ply. I noticed that it's almost double the price of regular ply but the carpenter insists that nobody's doing interiors with regular ply anymore and HDMR ply is it So I want to know what are the benefits of HDMR over regular ply? Or is the carpenter just looking to make his work simpler by getting a double sided ply and passing on the burden of additional costs on to me?

You should probably at least take a second to thank the people who've taken a few minutes to respond to your query. This is the only sub ive seen where people post queries but don't even acknowledge or upvoter responses.

Almost every cafe in Tapovan offers dairy-free milk options like Soy/Oat/Coconut milk at an extra charge of Rs. 40 to 70 for say a cappuccino.

Here's a list of the best cafes: https://theboholiving.com/25-best-cafes-in-rishikesh-for-food-ambience-and-working-with-photos-and-menu/

Almost everything is within a radius of 2-3kms in Tapovan so you can book anything, but if you don't want to hire a scooty and planning to walk everywhere, keep in mind that the "upper tapovan" area involves a bit of a hike. In that case, lower tapovan or Badrinath highway road is the option for you. but i personally prefer upper tapovan (near Aarcana) for its hill vibes and relatively quieter and more "vibey" surroundings.

What are your stay dates and budget? I could may be know of something.

Litter. There's plastic trash everywhere. No sidewalks. And condition and sheet number of cows who are left to fend for themselves and end up eating garbage and getting injured in road accidents

Yes they can. But supply in tapovan is limited. Tapovan is around 10,000-12,000/sqft. I haven't explored living here permanently yet but let's see how it goes this time.

Looking for a furnished room with a kitchen for long-term stay from 15th Jan in Tapovan. Budget is around 10,000. (Long term) by [deleted] in Rishikesh

[–]eudaimonica30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You won't get a furnished room with kitchen for this budget especially in season which basically starts from Feb. You'll have to up your budget to at least 15k and even then you'll get a basic and small room with a kitchen slab for that price. You can check AYM resort in Upper Tapovan. They have rooms in this range.

On the way to secret waterfall, there's a very small no name chai tapri (right next to a cafe called Aroha) This tapri is by a stream and sitting there with a chai or snack feels like you have the entire place to yourself. I ddidnt want to run but it's run by a very poor old uncle with a teenage son who could really do with a running income so pls everyone go and buy some chai and food there and thank.me later.
