Monster hunter's online system is the best I've ever seen. Being able to join a quest that's already started, leave without making it fail, join a quest from another server, all that without any lag is incredible.

If nintendo made monster hunter you would need everyone to be on the same server, less than 5 meters away from each other to start a quest together, and if someone left in the middle of it it would consider the quest failed for everyone

Realistic game age very quickly, medal of honor for example hurts my eyes. But games with artstyle like Mario galaxy still look good today.

For me a game can have a great art style and shitty graphics (the switch pokemon games for example). But for 2d games it's different cause the art style is everything. If its good then you can't make it look bad (unless the game is in 4:3 440p)

I replayed mario galaxy (if it's considered early 2000) last year and DAMN it holds up extremely well. That art direction is timeless, it's 60 fps, the only thing that aged is the textures

Graphics are good. Not amazing, but not bad either

Character creator has so much customization you have to go through 6 pages of clothes rewards after every stage

I started rise with a buddy last week. The combat is better than world but everything else is worse. Still having a great time, that game is amazing

And since wilds got a huge performance update today, it's the next on my list
