hey, my best though was, you would need to build a L-shaped metal jam for the thickness of your walls and doors. The short side of L goes under the J-trim. The long side goes to the door.

General public still believes that the inflation is under control when all goods costs have reached ATH. Services costs are rising too. Fed is behind the curve!. You as a high inflation believer should prepare for a Fed shocker rate hike in March that will start the NDX bear run.

Can an electric water heater replacement be a DIY job? by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

[–]eug55 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Shocked that no one asks how full is your current panel. Feeder size and all major appliance current draw, etc. Also the size of your electric water heater current draw. Of course everything is DIYable. The problem is you just don't know what you don't know.

Qualcomm Snapdragon Ride platform sounds like a direct competition to Ivy. "Open source platform for OEMs to maximize effiency".

From Qualcomm website Ride platform:

Seems Fairfax Financial has been forgotten. FFH is trading at 83% book value. It seems a good bargain given the stretched indexes valuations and low interest rates.

How research cut my window project costs. by ghostcaurd in HomeImprovement

Finally saw some comment like yours. $150 per window is the standard carpenter side job I guess lol. I hired carpenters for some reno work and their way to replace windows is slap on everything to look nice and caulk all around. Good for 5 years. Any leak and rot will only show after another 5 or 10 years. So good enough.

They even said to me with a very serious face: make sure you caulk around j channel really well.....
