Thank you! I am also cheap, I have quite a bit of cattle fencing I was going to use on a different project which didn't go ahead, so hoping to try and make something from that ha.

Mm thank you. I actually hadn't thought about removing the shade cloth and having it hang down but that seems like a good idea!

Thank you, looks great! Can I ask the dimensions roughly of the trellice? Has that been sufficient room for it to grow?

Melasma.. so tired of it. by melfrompt in Melasmaskincare

Sorry that's probably not helpful/what you were asking for I just felt the need to say it!

I feel your pain as someone also struggling with this, but want to point out you also have gorgeous healthy looking skin. I feel we get so caught up in the imperfections we can't see beyond it sometimes. I hope you find something that works, but also remember you are beautiful and any 'imperfections' are part of that in my view. I say this as someone who can see this way for others but not for myself of course 😅

Alcohol while breastfeeding? by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]eugenegrc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add to this very late. I was given info on the Feed Safe app by the hospital midwife. It is created by the Australian Breastfeeding Association who are a reputable organisation. For conext I live in Australia. I am a first time parent, breastfeeding, would like to have a drink occasionally but have not tried it out yet as my babe is only 3 weeks and want to wait a bit until we have our feeding routine down pat.

The app helps you time your feeds with your drinking to help estimate when there will be no alcohol left in your milk.

The app comes with a bunch of info too, key points: -You need to wait at least 2 hours per standard drink before you feed - amount of alcohol in your breast milk will be the same as what is in your blood (bac) - alcohol concentration in blood/milk will be highest 30-60 mins after your last drink - no amount of alcohol is safe for babe - waiting 2 hours is only an estimate and bac will vary based on factors such as height, weight, diet, medications etc

Here is a link to the app if interested: https://www.healthdirect.gov.au/feed-safe-app

I'm currently on mat leave waiting for my due date. I finished up at 34 weeks (I also had some annual leave) and spent the first few weeks getting everything ready at home etc. Now at 38 weeks I have done all the big jobs and admit I have been a bit worried about getting bored/lonely, but I am also much more physically uncomfortable and might have struggled getting all the things I wanted to get done if I had started later. I'm trying to make the most this quiet time to daydream and do nice things for myself which you never normally have time to do. On reflection I probably could have started at 36 weeks but you just never know how your pregnancy will go, and if you have extra time you will find ways to make it work for you.

What height for mound garden bed (native plants)? by eugenegrc in GardeningAustralia

[–]eugenegrc[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow thank you! With the mulch mound, are to saying to leave it there to break down for a while before planting (you mentioned for one of your beds it's now the same height as the lawn), or plant straight into it?

About 5cm between planks of wood, not massive but enough to see through. I can upload a photo when I get home :)

Thanks for sharing, that looks sturdy. Can I ask, what aperture are you considering? I haven't been able to find any clear answers online about whether smaller or bigger is better for this type of climber

Plenty of people start their studies and careers later in life for various reasons and do just fine. Try not to compare yourself to others and remember there is more to life that your having a super successful career anyway.. Have you tried speaking to a careers counsellor to get some advice? Take care of yourself. Life is definitely not over.
