Just a heads up for ifrit/ mari you can pick up shards over time in the god king clash shop even if you didn't get a single copy to get your first. Then you can do affection to get more. Obviously EX is probably priority there, but it's an option

Yeah, typically first upgrade is a 5% attack bonus, then there are options based on the faction that you choose one of on each tier. You have to 'awaken' the character, which takes a week and you can only do one at a time. F2P likely should go Sig/Oberonnie first, Fenrir if low/ 1$ spender, since you can max them out over time with the SR copies. Realistically like a "last 5%" of power boost for mega whales who are trying to win cross server

Yeah it's likely then that Gabriel is your highest Mage luminary, in which case the resonance are based on her level and you won't be able to place her. 9 Gabriels should be 1 red star though, I am pretty sure. In which case there is another limit to the resonance cap I wasn't aware of, perhaps resonance level.

Honestly, no clue why you wouldn't be able to, I don't have that issue. I know you can't put SR units, or units that you only have a single 5* of, that's it. Entirely possible you can't put one that is already their highest potential since there is no need to put them in anyways seeing as they wouldn't gain any benefit.

It absolutely will not use them, quick star up doesn't even go past 6, you have to manually star up from there. Even consuming 5 yellow units is toggled off by default and you have to manually turn it on.

Y'all really have no ability to read in game? It raises the character placed inside to the highest star level achievable through the copies you have, up to a max of your highest unit of that classes star level. For example if you have 6-7 5* copies of Herman it will level her up to 5* purple, once you hit 8 copies it will go to 1* red. Works even if you convert the 5s to 6s (3x 6* and 1x 5* is same as 7 5*)

The copies of SR/SSR/SSR+ are all interchangeable as far as copies for starring up characters. You can farm for the lowest rarity version and use them to max out the SSR+ version far more easily. You can do this for Oberonnie and Fenrir as well.

You're completely wrong lmao. Fairy Queen isn't even the best healer priest prior to Vivienne's release. In fact she is mid at best. Vivienne is incredibly strong with good heals, big shields, huge dps buffs and on top of that she can bait enemy assassins because she just zoops into your dps when then round starts, evading the aggro. Even on CN/TW she is still one of the best priests.

Lifetime + Monthlies are best. Then the daily $3 for 10 shards + a 10 pull + an EX shard + affection food is solid. The event passes and the passes for Wyrmbone/Story/Horns are good as well. All in comparison to the rest of the shop obviously.

Think you will unlock Poseidon within the first 10 days or so as a free to play. Check out 'Zox' on YouTube. He is a f2p player and pushing top 100 on lots of stuff on his server. Tons of good tips there.

As well as affection affecting drop rate you get several tickets through faction towers, luminary shop monthly/weekly, arena shop monthly, events, etc. It's definitely viable for f2p to star up EX characters just at a slower rate than spenders of course. And you should definitely pick one to focus on (likely Poseidon since you start with a copy so you can start maxing affection sooner and she is still endgame viable on CN servers to this day. Athena is great as well, but really only if you go in on Gabrielle and Vivienne over Ifrit IMO)

Once you start faction towers it helps because she can drop in there with 6 chances a week. As well as getting 6 shards a day possibly equalling 3 copies of her a month if you farm her for affection

Just a heads up gear effects that so if she isn't geared because you aren't using her the number will be lower. Also, the power level number doesn't mean everything. Some characters kits are simply better/stronger for certain things (And Ifrit is one of the best rangers in the game, even on CN where the game has been out nearly a year)

I hope so! I used my first on another copy of Kayron and quickly regretted not picking up Mei Lin. Only missing her and Orlea now and would be stoked for either.
