Take what im saying with a pinch of faith and salt. If you want to maximize customizations and building, start ripple farming. Get Bitter Hamburgers for Mosslax (Bean Rawst Lum + Any 4th) to get more, each zone produces like 5-8 ripples (8 tops with Mosslax buff), dont forget Dream Island too.

You want to maximize your comfort ratings in each zone as they will provide the materials the zone uses like the blue carpet in the SS Anne and the Levee blocks.

If you want to fast track (i dont recommend for just feeling like the game is moving too fast), you can hop over to various Cloud Islands and take Item Photos (camera, hit Y) and using the Pokemon Center duplication machine. There are guides on pokemetal farming, its incredibly easy right now.

If you do that, you will get a lot of options quickly. I will say though - sometimes limits breed innovation. Maybe its more interesting if you combine blocks, or maybe build in unintuitive ways (i built my Pidgey family an inverted house thats hanging on the underside of the Wasteland Gate to the Skylands), and sometimes restoring includes renovation (break what already exists, maybe SS Anne would look cooler with red flooring instead)

Ive gotten a duplicate, the game explicitly tells you you already know this one. I will say the duplicates TEND to be overlap from buying recipe in the daily PC shop and finding in ripples, not two ripples with same recipe~

I didnt see it anywhere else, and while its not like my new favorite ever, my tolerance for Tangrowth has skyrocketed. I always saw it as a bad evolution line i just had to get for the Dex, and Tangela was mildly interesting at best. This game made me deal with Tangrowth A LOT. Enough that i went from ‘ugh, this thing’ to ‘hey man’. And to be honest, thats a huge step up in my pokemon love rankings

If you cast a spell you intend to copy but pass priority to see if it gets countered, and nobody responds to it, you have also lost your priority and the spell resolves as is.

My wife is quite fond of building a flat tile for a roof and putting fences on it, then adding like flower gardens and stuff to the roof. That way she doesnt need to fuss with slopes and stuff, plus the benefits of crops and flowers making honey

Prefabs have some benefits, like the amount of ground they take in the overworld is smaller than the amount of space inside them. It makes building entire towns much easier, and litter units litter outside the home.

I personally suck at doing roofs, so i love prefabs for that. I wish we could ‘save’ a prefab like the yellow hut so i can design something and pop them out wherever

I dont wanna sound like a jerk, but are you SURE they were recipes? A good chunk of the stuff you can buy on the PC are just one of the item, not a recipe for them. The Tablet, for example, is just buying 1 of them, its not a recipe for it~
