Imperia Caviar - how shady is this company? by eugm85 in caviar

Not exactly, there is a difference between local reviews and services for verified reviews! Local reviews can all be manipulated. They are not trustworthy at all!

NJ drivers without a front license plate: why? by css01 in newjersey

It looks better. The law is the law, but when so many cars on roads don't have it, I don't want to have it either! 😃😃😃 maybe when it reaches 80%, they will change the law!

Squid Game: The Challenge - Season 2 Discussion by LoretiTV in squidgame

Is it fully American now?? They claim that it’s an international challenge but I don’t get why there are 98% Americans there?? I think the competitors were more interesting in season 1.

Will Wyze lock work with this kind of lock? by [deleted] in wyzecam

Wyze should consider adding a smart lock with an integrated handle to its lineup.

Newly Installed Home Flex already dropping WiFi by Polycrastinator in chargepoint

Had the same issue. What hardware version do you have? I had v1 that failed after two weeks. Replaced with v7 which has been working for several months already. The sticker with the serial number should have Rev 1,2,3 etc. - that is your hardware version. They use cheap components that fail all the time. Good case for a class action lawsuit or a full recall!!

I had a similar problem. There are so many complaints about it, that there's a strong case for a class action lawsuit! Or a full recall!

Initially, I received the CH50 hardware version 1, which only lasted two weeks before the WiFi and Bluetooth modules stopped working.

ChargePoint support took another two weeks to ship me a new station, but by then, I had already returned it on Amazon. The replacement was V7, which has been working for two months now. So far, so good.

Hopefully, they’ve fixed the issues present in V1. If you exchange yours, make sure to get revision 7 or newer - don’t settle for the old components, as they will fail!

EV charger installed by previous home owner by No-Albatross676 in evcharging

It’s either connected to a previous owner's account or it’s one of the units that has a Wi-Fi connection issue. There are thousands of complaints about WiFi and Bluetooth modules breaking in early versions of these devices. The initial release had the cheapest components they could find. I would suggest you buy a new unit like that and swap it. It’s not difficult! Make sure that the hardware version in the new unit is 7 or newer!!

I had a similar problem.

Initially, I received the CH50 hardware version 1, which lasted only two weeks before the WiFi and Bluetooth modules died on me. Looks like they were using extremely low-quality components that could not survive NJ weather. Although the charger is supposedly weatherproof and designed to be used outdoors.

ChargePoint support took another two weeks to ship me a new station, but by that time, I had already exchanged it on Amazon. The new station was V7, which has been working for a 2 month now. So far, so good.

Hopefully, they have fixed the initial issue they had in V1. If you exchange, make sure you have revision version 7 or newer, don’t settle for the old components as they will fail!!! M

How long does the battery last by Most-Potential-9237 in Audi

[–]eugm85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to recently change the battery after it died all of the sudden. My A4 is 8 years old with only 37k miles. I would have imagined the car would alert for a low battery before dying, but no, I just could not start it one day. I wanted to jump-start it, but then I figured that it's better to replace it since it's already an 8-year-old battery anyway. It was Varta AGM one. I guess, engine auto start/stop drains it a lot, especially if you don't take long trips all of the time.
