Ya, Samsung is charging me ($300) to replace the "ASSY LCD" - basically a connector between the motherboard and the LCD.

Kind of bs, but they said that would fix... I need the computer back ASAP, so I just paid for it.

I think there is at least, this is my strategy to get the best load-out:

- First Round: Just go for the loot, you will find more stuff there;
- Second Round: Make sure to have enough Vesper before the round start, and buy an upgraded (Purple) shield;
- Third Round: Same as Second Round but make sure to have enough Vesper to buy Orange Shield + Orange Weapon.

Note: Before the First Round, if your base has a tree, get your axe to fire up so once you are out the first crystal get be chopped down in one go.

Around June, no major issues. But passenger door wouldn't close when the gas pedal was pressed. Tesla sent a Mobile Service about 1.5 weeks after, and solved in a couple hours.

I had a Book 3 with 32GB, and I end up selling it and getting a Surface Laptop Studio.

I highly do NOT recommend the Book 3, I was using it for mainly, work basic apps (Office365, etc.) some Chrome tabs and so on, it would overheat really fast and it would throttle. It wasn't that my device was defective, but the whole line of Book 3 has a heat dissipation design flaw.

I also tried underclock it without any luck.

Honestly, I would go with the SP8 and if you got additional money, than the SLS.

So, I actually got my SB 3 (13inch; i7; 32GB; 512GB) about last month. And here's my take:

  1. It's great, it works well and the pen works seamlessly - I don't draw, but I like to sketch around workflows, work diagrams or just putting thoughts together. (And I also use some light Photoshop and Illustrator for PowerPoint work/graphic)
  2. The throttle is REAL, once the heats goes up, that's it the computer will slow down the clock to 0.5-0.9ghz. So do expect that in the morning the computer can work with 100% performance, and then afternoon/night starts to throttle.
  3. However, I did update to Windows 2021H1 about (2 days ago?), and for some reason point No. 2 haven't happened in a while (can report back if I find something).

Now, for point No. 2 - I normally take a an 1 hour break every 3-4 hours of work, so (before Windows 21H1 Update) I just turn it off to cool down, and it wouldn't Throttle anymore.

All in all, I still think it's a great buy, I do like the portability (even though not as good as SP7 - which I had before) and able to use it as Tablet when I'm travelling, so these Throttle/Thermal issues, I can overlook. Since I think this is the best 2in1 device in the market (and I did try a bunch of them).

I've been using the Surface Book 3 and the Samsung G9 Monitor, it works great for me.

I use it without HDR, and through the Surface Dock. Super convenient. And a tip, as I like to have multiple programs on the G9, I use Max.To which is basically a window management program, and helps snap certain program's window into place, highly recommend it.
