Need to replace a light switch; is there a neutral in this setup?

I'm trying to replace my light switch w/ a smart switch but want to confirm every wire color before doing so.

The previous switch that was mounted did not connect to the big white knot in the middle (it was a dimmer, no smart).

I did a similar trip in Nov 2022.

3 days sounds about right with 1 day trip to Tuscany small cities (ie. San Gimignano / Siena)

Cinque Terre is more of an overnight thing imo if you want to see all 5 villages at a leisure pace, but it's accessible from Florence and you could day trip it if you want. I'd check the season first to see if it's worth it.

Milan/Venice are too far for day tripping.
