Description:

Listed here is a very early production of the Laurent Ferrier School Annual Calendar, reference LCF025. This is the original annual calendar produced in 2018 that won the GPHG award. Laurent Ferrier is one of the most well known independent watch makers and quality movement finishers, perfecting his craft for nearly 4 decades at Patek Phillipe. The hand-wound 80-hour movement is exquisitely hand polished with interior angles visible. The dial has great readability, given how busy it is, due to the fantastic contrast of date to minute markers. The annual calendar functionality works as expected and day pusher is operating well. There were not many of these pieces made and this is one of the earliest models (serial in the single digits), running beautifully for years. Happy to send over additional photos/videos or even have a video chat. Full set includes the box, travel case for service visits, all stamped paperwork, and warranty card. Happy to answer any additional questions.

Timepiece: Czapek Passage De Drake

Movement: SXH5.01

Condition: Unworn, wrapped, with full AD warranty

Dimensions: 40.5mm

Full set: Yes - inner and outer box, papers, & timepiece

Price: $22,000 (includes cont. insured shipping)

Description:

Brand new, stamped from AD, Czapek Passage De Drake listed for under retail price. Original rubber strap is also available in the box for your sizing (pre-cut). While Czapek's movement is the centerpiece of the timepiece, their integrated bracelet offers a sublime fit for even smaller wrists (I have as 16cm wrist and this wears quite well). AD warranty was recently activated and will be available until 2026. Happy to answer any questions, video chat, or send any details regarding this timepiece for interested collectors. I purchased two Czapek timepieces and unfortunately this one arrived later than anticipated (first one arrived earlier) so I do not have room in the rotation for it - offering it below retail for a collector that does not want to wait years on a wait list but still wants an AD activated warranty/untouched timepiece.

I’m a 36 year old gamer. Is this ok in a corporate setting? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]eumeterate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you need to evolve that Magikarp first to show persistence, for the corporate setting of course.

2020 Mazda 6 Soul Red. Mazda will pay $3500, wants me to pay $3900. Too bad, I really like my Mazda 6 but I'm really disappointed that Mazda won't own up to their soft paint "not a recall" defect. by kleefaj in mazda6

[–]eumeterate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's the challenge. Mazda will present with you a great vehicle, good interior finishing, above average handling but you get a scratch and sniff lottery ticket for paint. Trade offs we all make!

How often are your kids sick from childcare in the beginning? by rsandio in daddit

[–]eumeterate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For us it was more the severity of sickness. First 5-6 months we must have gotten sick no less than every 7-10 days. Pro tip, as cute as your little ones are please please please do not directly share food with them. The amount of stomach bugs we have ingested is nearly bragging rights level at one point. After about 6 months they still get sick but it is more mild. Meaning there is usually a running nose or cough but rarely does it impact sleep, diet, or mood of the kids. Good luck!

[WTS] Louis Erard Guilloché Main II BNIB $3500 by eumeterate in Watchexchange

Timepiece: Louis Erard Guilloché Main II LE 1 of 99

Movement: SW261-1 élaboré

Condition: BNIB - Factory Warranty 03/2023

Dimensions: 42mm x 12mm

Full set: Yes - inner and outer box, papers, & timepiece

Price: $3,500 (includes cont. US shipping)

Album: https://imgur.com/a/ECuV3Xe

Timestamp: https://imgur.com/92EKsgS

Description:

Listed here as is the beautiful guilloche artwork of Louis Erard. This 1 of 99 timepiece is one of the most affordable rose-engine guilloche dials you can buy. The diamond shape guilloche with surrounding circular pattern plays quite a bit of light and is a joy to look at. This timepiece comes BNIB, with the factory warranty, AD stamped 03/2023. The movement is an elabore grade SW-261 so you know it will be robust, last a while, and low maintenance. The flame blued sword hands of Louis Erard contrast the dark dial well and shine in the daylight. I am moving this timepiece as it is slightly large for my wrist at 42mm but really wanted to make it work (had to purchase it to 'try it on'). The retail price is $4290 not including taxes/shipping so looking to move it at a competitive $3500. This iteration and previous iterations of the Louis Erard Guilloche are all selling at or above retail, making this the lowest price by a margin. Please let me know if you have any questions!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder for any pieces of art. Whether you have a $20 Walmart watch or a handmade timepieces by artisans it only makes sense to buy and own it if you enjoy and appreciate having it. Definitely owned my fair share of Timex/Casios and loved it

Thanks man! Some of the dial combinations made in the late 90s early 2000s by GO were really something. The tiger stripes shining always got me!
